ASAP- Ongoing need; contract options: 3-6 months
Guaranteed 8-hour days
Coverage needed: 1 FTE per month
Setting/Department: Office-based / ASC; Gastroenterology & Non-Surgical Weight Loss; fast-paced
Practice Setting: Ambulatory Surgery Center
Support: Collaborating physician; each location has 2-3 RNs and LPN as backup; 1-2 MAs in room
Patients/day: Up to 17-24 (varies by physician)
Patient population: 16 years (rare) to 80 years
EMR: gGastro (GMED)
Procedures: GI (EGD, colonoscopy, etc.); non-surgical weight loss procedures requiring anesthesia; gastric sleeves
Skills required: GI sedation and general anesthesia
Skills preferred: GI or ambulatory anesthesia; office-based anesthesia or ASC experience
Certifications: NBCRNA, NC license, BLS, ACLS, PALS
Minimum experience: 2-3 years
Credentialing timeframe: ASAP; 1 week or less
