Join our dynamic outpatient clinic specializing in endocrinology, providing expert care to adult and geriatric patients. This locum tenens position offers a unique opportunity for a physician to manage a diverse range of endocrine disorders including hyperthyroid, hypothyroid, and diabetes. Work alongside a dedicated team, including an RN, diabetes educator, dietitian, and one advanced practice provider. This role does not require on-call duties, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Job Responsibilities
- Manage common endocrine conditions such as hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism, Graves' disease, thyroid nodules, pituitary disorders, and diabetes.
- Perform fine-needle aspiration (FNA) as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Provide comprehensive patient care with a focus on adult and geriatric populations.
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine
- Fellowship in Endocrinology required
- Must have a valid state medical license and DEA
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred
Working Hours
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Last patient appointment scheduled at 4:15 PM
- Two weeks of coverage per month with no on-call duties
Skills
- Proficiency in managing a wide range of endocrine disorders
- Competence with EMR systems, specifically EPIC
- Ability to work independently and perform FNAs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction
