Job Details:- Provide call coverage at an ASC verified Level III Trauma Facility serving the Upper Peninsula of Michigan
- Must hold active board certification with the ABOS - NBPAS Board Certification is not accepted
- Must hold an active MI License, MI CDS, and MI DEA
- Coverage is 24-hour call shifts from 7am to 7am
- Onsite orientation required the day prior to first shift
- Surgeon will cover Emergency Department call on a rotating basis, coming in only when the ED requests a consult
- Typical cases include fractures, sports medicine, and general orthopedics
- Skills in Total Joints (hip and knee) are required, as well as general orthopedic surgery
- Arthroscopy required
- Total joint replacement including hip, knee, and other joints required
- Joint revision or repair including shoulder, hip, and knee required
- No spine cases
- Orthopedic PAs and full surgical staff available for support
- Completely digital radiology department on site
- Credentialing timeframe approximately 30 days
