Job Summary:
Medical-Surgical Floor Registered Nurse in Sterling, Colorado. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a medical-surgical unit, following organizational policies and professional nursing standards. The position emphasizes patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice or a valid compact RN license. BLS certification is required. Experience in a clinical setting for the specified specialty is preferred but not required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred. Additional related education and/or experience are advantageous.
- Additional Information: Involves assessing patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs. Develops and revises care plans based on assessment findings. Coordinates and provides direct patient care, delegating responsibilities appropriately. Documents all patient interactions and care activities promptly and accurately. Participates in ongoing education, research activities, and quality improvement initiatives. May oversee activities of licensed and non-licensed personnel. Works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, patients, families, and external providers to ensure safe, effective, and equitable care delivery.
