I am working with CVPH-Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital in Plattsburgh, NY and they are looking for some temporary Gastroenterology coverage starting in early October. This facility is looking for one week of coverage per month (Monday am through Saturday am)
Schedule: Mon - Thurs 7:30a-4p
M-TH: 7:30a-12p (procedures)
M-TH: 1p-4p (rounding/consults)
10-15 patient load per day M-TH
4-5 new inpatient consults per day M-TH
Fri-Saturday: 7a-7a (24 hour call)
Call is moderate at CVPH, 24/7 Hospitalist coverage
Roughly 40 procedures a week
Combination of elective and urgent/emergent inpatient/ER patients
Required: Endoscopy and Colonoscopy
Midlevel support at all times
CVPH generally has an endo team available (nurses and techs)
Admissions done by hospitalist team at both locations
EMR: EPIC
30-60 days to privilege
Board Certified or truly Board Eligible candidates only
Candidates must have an active NY license
$545 per hour (M-TH 7:30a-4:30p)
$4250 per 24 hour call
$655 per hour for any hour worked in the facility while on call or any hour worked in the facility after the scheduled hours of 7:30a-4:00p M-TH)
