Providence Swedish Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a board-certified Physiatrist (PM&R) to serve as Medical Director of our state-of-the-art inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Seattle, Washington. As Medical Director, you will play a key leadership role in shaping the clinical vision of the hospital, collaborating with an experienced interdisciplinary team, and ensuring delivery of high-quality rehabilitative care for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopedic conditions, complex neurological disorders, and other disabling illnesses.

Medical Director Responsibilities
Provide physician leadership for the inpatient rehabilitation program
Collaborate with hospital administration on quality, compliance, and strategic initiatives
Participate in medical staff development and physician recruitment efforts
Promote patient-centered, evidence-based rehabilitation care
Support accreditation, regulatory, and quality improvement activities
Foster strong relationships with referring physicians, acute care partners, and community stakeholders
Qualifications
MD or DO degree
Board Certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
Eligible for Washington medical licensure
Previous leadership experience preferred, but emerging physician leaders are encouraged to apply
Demonstrated commitment to interdisciplinary rehabilitation care and clinical excellence
