Interventional Radiology locum tenens opportunity in south Texas with a flexible ongoing schedule. Coverage includes both IR procedures and diagnostic reads during downtime in a busy multi-site practice environment.
Assignment Details
- Location: South Texas
- Setting: Hospital and imaging centers
- Start Date: ASAP; as soon as credentialed
- Contract Length: 3-6 months with potential to extend ongoing

Schedule
- 7-14 days per month or 1-2 weeks monthly
- Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Clinical Details
- Patient Mix: ER, inpatient, and outpatient
- IR Volume: Approximately 30 cases per shift
- Diagnostic Reads: Approximately 90 reads onsite
- Procedures: Full spectrum interventional radiology procedures plus diagnostic coverage during downtime
- EMR: Cerner
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Radiologist
- Active Texas license or IMLC accepted at supported facilities
- MQSA required for onsite diagnostic coverage
- DEA required
- Case logs required for credentialing
- COVID vaccine required for onsite coverage
