Position Highlights - Outpatient-only Gastroenterology practice
- MondayFriday schedule: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
- No call responsibilities
- No weekends or holidays
- Low daily patient volume: approximately 510 patients per day
- Strong nursing and administrative support

Responsibilities - Provide comprehensive Gastroenterology care in the outpatient setting
- Diagnose and manage GI conditions including chronic liver disease and Hepatitis
- Develop diagnostic and treatment plans for GI patients
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses and treatment plans
- Participate in teaching, mentorship, and potential research activities
Procedural Responsibilities Physicians should be comfortable performing a broad range of GI procedures, including:
- EGD
- Colonoscopy and flexible sigmoidoscopy
- ERCP
- Polypectomy
- Liver biopsy
- PEG placement
- Esophageal dilation
- Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)
- Esophageal banding and sclerotherapy
- Esophageal stent placement
- Additional diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures
Qualifications - MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary care teams
- Interest in teaching and mentoring preferred
