Locum Tenens Anesthesiology Physician
Location: Near Horizon City, TX

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Anesthesiology Physician for a locum tenens opportunity near Horizon City, TX. This position offers full-time hours with a flexible schedule in a level 2 trauma center. The role includes both outpatient and inpatient work, with a focus on CRNA supervision and some solo cases. Position Overview:

- Full-Time Hours: Minimum of 2 continuous weeks per month
- Practice Setting: Outpatient and Inpatient
- Call Requirements: Negotiable
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise CRNAs in both outpatient and inpatient settings, handling a variety of cases
- Perform some solo anesthesiology cases
- Provide proficiency in regional anesthesia
- No cardiac cases involved
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care
Qualifications:
- Board Certification: Required (Board-eligible also considered)
- Fellowship: Preferred but not required
- License: Must hold an active Texas medical license
- Certifications:
- ACLS: Required
- BLS: Required
- Temporary Privileges: Available for quick onboarding
Facility and Practice Details:
- Facility Type: Level 2 trauma center
- EMR System: Cerner
- Privileges: Required for hospital/surgery center
- Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days
- Holidays Allowed: New Years Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
