Position Overview:
- Location: Near Palmer, AK

- Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call

Practice Details:
- Practice Setting: The role involves both inpatient and outpatient care, ensuring a diverse and fulfilling experience.
- Shifts and Coverage:
- Clinic Coverage: Two weeks per month of clinic coverage.
- Call Coverage:
- Onsite: 4 weeks per month of hospital call coverage with night call during the week and 24-hour weekend call.
- Virtual: For the other two weeks, 24-hour virtual call coverage.
- Patient Load: Average of 12 patients per shift.
- Holidays: Coverage required for major holidays, including New Year's Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
Requirements:
- Board Certification: Must be board-certified in Pediatric Neurology.
- Certifications: BLS and PALS certifications required.
- Privileges: Hospital and surgery center privileges required; however, temporary privileges are not available.
- Credentialing Timeframe: Estimated at 90-145 days.
- Licensing: No reimbursement for licensing costs.
