Core Clinical Partners is excited to support its partnership with BSA Health and is seeking Advanced Practice Providers to join a well-established, 40+ clinician Hospital Medicine program in Amarillo, Texas, with opportunities across day, swing, and nocturnist coverage.

Position Overview

Join a collaborative Hospital Medicine team practicing at BSA Health, a 450-bed regional referral center serving the Texas Panhandle and surrounding region. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced APP who enjoys inpatient medicine, clinical autonomy, and caring for medically complex patients within a physician-supported environment.

Core is actively recruiting APPs for day, swing, and nocturnist roles to round out the team.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and manage hospitalized medical patients in collaboration with supervising physicians
  • Perform admissions, consultations, and patient assessments as needed
  • Participate in cross-coverage responsibilities across assigned shifts
  • Respond to changes in patient condition and coordinate appropriate care
  • Collaborate with specialists, nursing, case management, and ancillary staff
  • Support efficient patient throughput, quality outcomes, and continuity of care
  • Participate in patient handoffs and transitions of care between providers
  • Accurately document patient encounters in the electronic medical record

Qualifications

  • Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant
  • ACNP strongly preferred due to patient acuity
  • FNP candidates should have significant recent Hospital Medicine, Critical Care, or Emergency Medicine experience
  • Eligible for Texas licensure
  • Hospital Medicine experience preferred
  • Comfortable caring for medically complex adult patients
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to thrive in a busy referral-center environment
