- Contract: Ongoing call coverage
- Coverage: 24-hour beeper call
Practice Setting
- Inpatient hospital
- Call-only assignment
- EMR: Cerner and Athena
Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour OB/GYN call coverage
- Evaluate and manage obstetric and gynecologic emergencies
- Perform inpatient rounding as needed
- Admit and manage patients requiring hospital care
- Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure continuity of care
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Active Alaska medical license
- Comfortable providing inpatient call coverage
- Ability to obtain emergency credentialing
