About the Opportunity
A prominent outpatient healthcare group in the Bronx, NY, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Psychiatrist to oversee and grow their Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) program. This is an exceptional direct-hire role for a clinician specializing in neuromodulation and treatment-resistant depression within a high-volume, collaborative clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and establish individualized treatment plans for patients with treatment-resistant depression and mood disorders.
- Oversee TMS operations, including initial cortical mapping, motor threshold (MT) determination, and ongoing treatment protocol management.
- Perform periodic re-determinations and review therapeutic progress with clinical staff and TMS technicians.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary mental health professionals to coordinate comprehensive care plans (including potential Spravato/Esketamine or outpatient management).
- Maintain complete and timely documentation within the electronic health record (EHR) system.
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
- Active, unencumbered New York Medical License (MD/DO).
- Fellowship training or formal clinical experience in Interventional Psychiatry / TMS preferred.
- Active DEA registration (New York).
- Strong clinical expertise in treating severe, treatment-resistant psychiatric conditions.
