Position Highlights: - 0.8 FTE (32 hours per week)
- EMR system is EPIC
- $46.77-$57.87/hour DOE
- Additional pay for your bilingual skills, paid on hours worked
- $8,000 Hiring/Retention Bonus Structure:
- At Hire: $2,400
- At 180 days (6 months): $3,200
- At 12 months: $2,400
- Bonus will be pro-rated based on Full Time Equivalency (FTE)
- Work Schedule: 4 days a week, working at multiple clinics in the area

What You'll Do: - Provide preventative periodontal care, including scaling, prophylaxis, root planing, sealants, and application of preventative agents.
- Perform expanded functions as permitted by licensure, including placing and carving restorations and managing temporary crowns.
- Take and manage dental X - rays; complete periodontal charting and maintain accurate patient records.
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide analgesia as needed.
- Educate and counsel patients on oral hygiene and preventative care; develop dental hygiene treatment plans in collaboration with providers.
- Assist providers during exams and ensure operatories and instruments meet infection control standards.
- Support clinic efficiency, quality initiatives, and compliance with TJC, HRSA, and YVFWC requirements.
Qualifications: - Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene program
- WA: Active Dental Hygiene License or Limited Dental Hygiene License
- CPR Certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire)
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred at a level 10
- Knowledge of standard dental practices and current hygiene concepts
- Ability to deliver care to patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- High level of manual dexterity and coordination
- Basic computer proficiency (Electronic Dental Records, Outlook, Word, Excel)
