Premier Medical Staffing Services is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Newburgh, Indiana.

NO LOCAL CANIDATES (40 MILE RADIUS RULE)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start: ASAP - Bi-weekly orientation
Shift Requirement: 12hr Days 6:30-7
Float Requirement: First to float within skillset.
Must have current active compact license. AHA BLS, AHA ACLS and NIHSS.
Minimum Experience REQUIRED: 2 years RN experience, 1 full year of stepdown experience, 1 travel assignment, trauma level II experience.
Charting Experience: Recent EPIC experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class)
Skillset: REQUIRED- Tele/12-lead EKG interpretation (TRAVELERS REQUIRED TO PASS TELE TESTS), Initiate/titrate drips (antiarrhythmics, Heparin, Insulin, etc.). Post surgical assessment/care. NIHSS/Neuro assessments/dysphagia screen.
PREFFERED- Stable home vents, PleurX drain/pericardial drains, lumber drains, VP shunts, Narcan drips. Must have strong assessment and critical thinking skills!
