Coverage dates: Nov 13-19; Dec 4-8; Dec 16-17; then every 4th week thereafter
Shift: Call coverage only (no clinic). On-call for phone consults from 8 AM Friday to 8 AM Friday (weeklong coverage)
Weekdays: APC takes first call during day shift; Weekends: attending is first call and comes in only for urgent procedures
Daytime rounding/procedure window: 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
Role: Gastroenterology call coverage; inpatient consults and procedures; no clinic responsibilities
Procedures required: Endoscopy and colonoscopy
Patient volume: 3 inpatient consults/day; 8 procedures/day; weekends limited to emergent cases
EMR: Epic
Requirements: Board Certified in Gastroenterology, Active New York medical license
Credentialing timeframe: 90 days
