Position: Staff MD Cardiologist Non-Invasive/Outpatient
Location : Brattleboro, VT
Tentative Start Date: October 1, 2026
Coverage Reason: Sole cardiologist in the group is retiring
Schedule:
- 3 5 days per week
- Outpatient only - no call, no weekend requirements
- 16 clinic patients/day
- Collaborate with 2 APRNs (no other cardiologists present during coverage)
- Hospital partners locally for ECHO/EKG reads
Setting:
- Multispecialty medical group, Trauma Level IV, 61-bed community hospital
- Adult patient population
- EMR: Cerner
- Procedures: Echocardiography, EKGs
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
- Current Vermont license, or willingness to obtain (facility will accept candidates needing licensure)
- BLS, ACLS and DEA required prior to start (no exceptions)
Credentialing: 2 months (can expedite if needed)
Travel: Flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage reimbursed
