We are seeking a Psychiatrist for an ongoing inpatient locum tenens opportunity in Wisconsin. This is a hospital-based position following a 7-on/7-off schedule, with both day and overnight shifts available.
Overview
- Inpatient psychiatry / child and adolescent
- Ongoing 7-on/7-off schedule
- Shifts: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
- Approximately 10-15 patients per clinician, including follow-up, new admissions and discharges
- APPs, residents, and fellows on-site
- EMR: Epic; charting must be completed in real time by the end of each day
Requirements- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- ACLS required
- Active WI state license or IMLC in-hand
Clinical responsibilities include inpatient psychiatric care, medication management, treatment-team meetings, communication with families/caregivers, coordination with nursing and social work, discharge planning, court/involuntary-treatment responsibilities, and peer-to-peer reviews.
