Shift Description
8-hour shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
10-hour shift: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
12-hour shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
24-hour in-house call: 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM
Night call (beeper): 5:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Call and weekend coverage on schedule

Call Details
24-hour in-house call: 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM
Night call (beeper): 5:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Weekend and call coverage preferred but not required
Call response time: 30 minutes
Physicians take primary call responsibilities
Weekend coverage includes 24-hour call shifts
Weekday coverage includes 12-hour scheduled shifts plus 12-hour beeper call shifts

Requirements
Board Certified
State license or IMLC may be accepted
ACLS
Residency required: Cardiothoracic or Trauma
No local candidates; must be at least 60 miles from site addresses
No providers currently working at the sites
No malpractice

Must be comfortable with block procedures

Assignment Details
Practice Setting: Hospital
Cross-credentialed 3-site assignment
Support Staff: CRNAs and AAs
Supervision of CRNAs required
Trauma Level varies by site
Number of anesthesiologists in practice: 37
Number of ORs varies by site: 6, 12, or 16
Physicians work independently
CRNAs are supervised by physicians but work independently in the room
EMR: Epic
