In this role, you will promote and maintain patient health by providing comprehensive pain management medical services. You will work with an interdisciplinary team of medical professionals, including other physicians, psychologists, nurses, and physical therapists, to design and execute patient management plans. Essential Responsibilities: Identifying short-term and long-range patient care issues and recommending courses of action. Assessing patient health by interviewing patients, performing physical examinations, and studying medical histories. Determining abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests (X-rays, lab studies) and interpreting results. Performing therapeutic procedures by administering injections, nerve blocks, and immunizations. Prescribing medications or rehabilitative services, performing pain-relieving procedures, and counseling patients and families to eliminate misconceptions about pain medicine. Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with all legal, professional, and infection-control policies.
