JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Specialty: CRNA - General Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Aug 01, 2026 Ongoing Shift Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 32-40 hours/week guaranteed Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 3-5 Main OR, 12-15 Endo FACILITY INFORMATION Trauma Level: Level 3 EMR System: Meditech Expanse Office Equipment Available: Collaborative OR Staff PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Credentialing Timeline: 1 month REQUIRED PROCEDURES General Surgical Cases ADULT General Surgical Cases PEDIATRIC IV Regional Anesthesia Spinal Anesthesia Epidural Anesthesia Regional Anesthesia Obstetrical Cases Neurosurgical Cases JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: Board Certified (AANA) - Required Licenses: Active state License in MA/ willing to obtain - Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS - Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience (Accepting New Grads) - Highly preferred Duties & Responsibilities Provide anesthesia services for general surgical cases for adult and pediatric patients. Perform IV regional, spinal, epidural, and other regional anesthesia techniques. Manage anesthesia for obstetrical and neurosurgical cases. Work in a supervised capacity within a collaborative operating room team. Cover cases in the Main OR and Endoscopy suites.
