San Mateo County, California: We seek a skilled INPATIENT PHYSICIAN (Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics) to join a respected post-acute care service supporting skilled nursing facilities across the Peninsula region, centered in Belmont. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise with inpatients who have a wide range of medical conditions, situations, and rehabilitation needs while earning a strong income and enjoying outstanding work-life balance.Full-time physicians typically spend 4 hours/day or less rounding on an average of 1618 patients while coordinating care with nursing leadership. The remainder of your 8-hour shift can be completed remotely, including charting from home, while you remain available for phone or text consults and orders. Part-time schedules are also available.Hospitalists and Primary Care Physicians who enjoy working with post-acute patients will thrive in this role.
