- Active Maryland NP or PA License - Required at time of application
- DEA - Required
- BLS - Required
- ACLS - Required
Board & Experience Requirements
- Board Certified - Required
- Minimum of 2 years of Cardiothoracic Surgery experience - Required
- First Assist experience in Cardiac Surgery - Required
- Endoscopic/Open Vein Harvesting experience - Required
- IMLC candidates not accepted
Practice Setting
- Acute Care Hospital
- 221-bed hospital
- Collaborative Cardiothoracic Surgery team
- Provider will not work independently
Clinical Responsibilities
- First assist in cardiothoracic surgical procedures
- Perform vein harvesting
- Assist surgeons throughout the perioperative process
- Provide preoperative and postoperative patient management
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary cardiac surgery team
Support & Technology
- EMR: EPIC
- Collaborative physician and surgical team
- Provider will not work solo
