JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: BC EM or BC IM/FM
  • Licenses: Active LA License, LA DEA and CS
  • DEA / CDS: Active DEA and CS required
  • Certifications: PALS, ATLS, ACLS
  • Experience: 2 years in emergency medicine required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting to the ED
  • Manage an average of 38 patients per day with support from NPPA staff
  • Work 12-hour day shifts from 6a to 6p
  • Supervise and collaborate with NPPA in Fast Track
  • Maintain active Louisiana medical license, DEA, and CDS along with required certifications (PALS, ATLS, ACLS)
