AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking an experienced and dynamic Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join a busy, well-established Gastroenterology practice in Ocala, Florida. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside a collaborative team of gastroenterologists dedicated to providing comprehensive digestive health services to the growing communities of Marion County and surrounding areas.

Position Highlights
- Full-time outpatient-focused position
- Join a growing and highly respected Gastroenterology team
- Mix of clinic visits, hospital rounding, and inpatient consults as needed
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with gastrointestinal disorders
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary team members to coordinate patient care
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide patient education
- Opportunity to participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice
- EPIC EMR system
Candidate Qualifications
- Master s or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Current Florida APRN license or Florida PA license (or eligibility to obtain)
- National certification required
- BLS certification required
- Previous Gastroenterology experience
- Excellent communication and patient-centered care skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining close collaboration with supervising physicians
