Hospice & Palliative Medicine Physician - Weekday Schedule
Floyd Lee Locums is seeking a Hospice & Palliative Medicine Physician for weekday coverage in Virginia. This opportunity offers a consistent daytime schedule with the option to participate in resident precepting.
Assignment Details
- Monday-Friday coverage
- 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
- No overtime
- Patient volume varies by shift
- Estimated credentialing timeframe of approximately 90 days
- Resident precepting opportunities available
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide direct hospice and palliative medicine care
- Evaluate and manage patients with complex symptom and care needs
- Collaborate with the clinical team to support patient-centered care
- Assist with resident precepting if interested and comfortable doing so
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Active Virginia medical license
- BLS required
- Hospice and Palliative Medicine experience
- Comfortable providing weekday clinical coverage
- Interest in resident education and precepting welcomed but not required
