- Schedule: 24-hour call, 7:00 AM-7:00 AM
- Weekend Coverage: Required
- Setting: Inpatient and Emergency
- Patient Population: Adults, 18+
- EMR: Cerner
- Temporary/Emergency Privileges: Available
- Partial coverage may be considered
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient Gastroenterology coverage
- Respond to GI consultations and emergencies while on call
- Perform general GI procedures
- ERCP experience preferred but not required
- Provide onsite care when called back during assigned coverage
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- GI Fellowship required
- Active California medical license required
- California DEA
- ACLS
- ERCP experience preferred
- Recent malpractice concerns or behavioral issues may affect consideration
