Locums Cardiology Inpatient Call Coverage Fort Smith, AR (AR License) Why This Role Long-term 7-on/7-off inpatient cardiology coverage through the end of 2027 Day-shift schedule only with no outpatient clinic responsibilities Established APP support in a Level III hospital Epic EMR with ongoing coverage needs for two providers Assignment Details Start Date: ASAP (upon credentialing) End Date: December 31, 2027 Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + In-House Call Setting: Inpatient Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off, day shifts Call Type: In-House Response Time: 15 minutes EMR: Epic Requirements Active Arkansas medical license Board Certified in Cardiology ACLS Fellowship trained Clinical Details General inpatient cardiology coverage supporting the hospitalist service Approximately 20 patient encounters and 5 admissions per day Around 20 phone consults while on service APP support (2 Äì3 providers) Hospital has 203 beds and is a Level III Trauma Center Experience with inpatient cardiology, echocardiography, TEE, nuclear cardiology, and ICU care preferred; interventional and electrophysiology experience welcomed but not required
