Join WCS Healthcare Partners as a full-time psychiatrist in an outpatient setting, where you will be part of a dynamic behavioral health team in the Bronx. Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient psychiatric care with a focus on medication management.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary behavioral health team, including established Psych NPs and LCSWs.
- Serve a diverse patient population, including children, adolescents, and adults.
- Conduct 20-minute medication management visits and 40-minute new evaluations, hospital follow-ups, and complex visits.
- Participate in a shared call rotation anticipated at approximately 1:8.
- Utilize telehealth capabilities while maintaining an onsite presence.
Requirements
- MD/DO, Board Certified/Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
- Active NY license or ability to obtain one.
- Experience in outpatient psychiatry preferred.
- Comfortable working with Medicaid/Medicare populations.
- Interest in leadership and program development is a plus.
