A well-established community health and social services organization, WCS Healthcare Partners, is seeking primary care physicians to join their team as they expand their services. This is an exciting opportunity for dedicated professionals to provide comprehensive care in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide primary care treatment services to patients with developmental disabilities.
- Primarily work at the Central Islip location
- Maintain a four-day work week with hours from 8am-6pm, with some days extending to 10am-8pm to accommodate patient needs.
- Manage an average of 22 patients over a 10-hour day.
- Utilize the ECW EMR system for patient documentation and records.
- Contribute to the expansion of services to include pediatric care, ensuring comfort in treating children.
Position Details
This is a full-time permanent position offering a competitive base salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including extensive paid time off, Federal Tort malpractice coverage, CME opportunities, and a 403b retirement plan.
Requirements
- Residency training in Family Medicine.
- Previous experience working in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or with the Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD).
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required.
- New graduates will be considered.
