Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon Opening Duluth, MNLocated in Duluth, MinnesotaFull-Time, Permanent Practice Overview Full-time Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery opportunity in Duluth, Minnesota Join a well-established multispecialty orthopedic practice with: 14 Orthopedic Surgeons 12 Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants Collaborate with subspecialists in: Pediatric Orthopedics Adult Reconstruction Shoulder & Elbow Foot & Ankle Orthopedic Oncology Hand Surgery Trauma Sports Medicine Podiatry Work alongside 2 full-time and 2 part-time Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeons, supported by 2 full-time Advanced Practice Clinicians Perform the full spectrum of Pediatric Orthopedic procedures, including pediatric spine surgery Opportunity for regional outreach clinics Shared 1:9 compensated call rotation at a Level I Trauma Center, averaging approximately 30 call nights per year Dedicated call APP and surgical assistant support, with ongoing expansion toward full orthopedic trauma call coverage Perform surgery at three locations: Tertiary care hospital Community hospital Ambulatory Surgery Center Practice at a 330-bed tertiary care hospital featuring: Level I Trauma Center Children's Hospital 5-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit 14-bed General Pediatric Unit 24/7 Pediatric Hospitalist and Pediatric Intensivist coverage Opportunity to provide athletic team coverage for professional, collegiate, and high school sports programs Utilize EPIC electronic medical record Serve a regional population of approximately 500,000 Compensation & Recruitment Package Base salary: $600,000 Additional earning potential through: Performance bonuses Quality incentives Production-based compensation Compensated call Job Qualifications MD or DO Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery Fellowship-trained in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery Minnesota medical license or eligibility Benefits Comprehensive employed physician benefits package Competitive base compensation Performance and quality incentive opportunities Compensated shared call Dedicated APP and surgical support Multispecialty orthopedic collaboration EPIC electronic medical record Outreach opportunities State-of-the-art surgical facilities Community DetailsDuluth is a vibrant city on the shores of Lake Superior, offering an exceptional quality of life with year-round outdoor recreation, excellent schools, and a thriving arts and dining scene.
