Locums Urology Clinic + Call Portsmouth, OH (OH License or IMLC) Why This Role

Assignment Details- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: Ongoing
- Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
- Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient
- Clinic Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
- Clinic Volume: 15-20 patients per day
- Call: Beeper call with 30-minute response time
- EMR: Meditech
- Credentialing: Approximately 90 days
Clinical Details- 3-4 half-day clinic sessions per week
- Office procedures including vasectomy, prostate biopsies, cystoscopy with stent removal, and prostate ultrasound
- Hospital procedures include PCNL, ureteroscopy with laser lithotripsy, TURP, GreenLight laser prostate, Aquablation, HIFU, nephrectomy, cryoablation, InterStim, UroLift, penile prosthesis, and additional general urologic procedures
- 4-8 hospital procedures per day
- Office equipped with UDS room, cystoscopy suites, ultrasound, and dedicated procedure rooms
- Support from 2 Nurse Practitioners and experienced clinical staff
Requirements- Board Certified Urologist
- Active Ohio license or IMLC
- ACLS
- BLS
- Experience with general urology and advanced endoscopic procedures
- Comfortable performing PCNL, ureteroscopy, laparoscopic procedures, TRUS biopsies, renal/bladder ultrasound with biopsy, and incontinence procedures
- Willing to supervise APPs and participate in teaching
