  • Experience: Prior hospice or palliative care experience preferred but not mandatory

What You ll Do
  • Provide compassionate hospice and palliative care to patients in accordance with best practices
  • Collaborate with residents and healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans
  • Engage in patient and family education regarding disease management and end-of-life options
  • Participate in precepting and mentoring residents and healthcare staff, if desired
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and facility standards
  • Document patient interactions accurately and timely in electronic health records

What You Need
  • Active medical license in Virginia
  • Certification or eligibility in Hospice and Palliative Medicine preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
