Contract (13 Weeks) Nights 3x12-Hour Shifts Every Other Weekend 36 Guaranteed Hours Per Week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery setting within a critical access hospital environment
- Float within the OB department as needed, including Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Well-Baby Nursery
- Perform multifaceted nursing duties requiring flexibility across multiple care areas within a small, 25-bed facility
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic health records
- Participate in on-call responsibilities in accordance with facility policy
- Attend facility orientation, which is conducted on Tuesdays only
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
- ACLS certification (AHA or ARC)
- PALS certification (AHA or ARC) or ENPC
- NRP certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- TNCC, NIHSS, CPI, or SANE certification
- Experience in a critical access or small community hospital setting
- Proficiency with Cerner charting system
