Job description

A mission-driven Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) is seeking a compassionate and skilled General Dentist (DDS/DMD) to join its growing dental team. Position Highlights

  • Monday Friday Schedule
  • 7:30 AM 4:00 PM
  • Outpatient FQHC Setting
  • No Evenings or Weekends
  • Collaborative, Team-Based Environment
  • Diverse Patient Population
Clinical Responsibilities
  • Comprehensive dental exams and treatment planning
  • Preventive and restorative dentistry
  • Fillings, crowns, bridges, and extractions
  • Oral health education and preventive counseling
  • Routine hygiene checks throughout the day
  • Collaboration with hygienists, dental assistants, and healthcare providers
  • Electronic documentation using EClinicalWorks Dental Module
Patient Population
  • Pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
  • Ohio Medicaid and commercial insurance populations
  • Approximately patients per day
  • Up to 20 hygiene checks daily
Qualifications
  • DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
  • Active Ohio Dental License (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA Certification (or eligibility)
  • Strong clinical, communication, and patient care skills
  • Commitment to serving diverse and underserved populations
