- Coverage Needed: 2-3 weeks per month (multiple providers will be considered)
- Average Patients/Procedures: Approximately 9 advanced cases per day
- Patient Population: Adults (18+)
Required Licenses & CertificationsRequired
- Board Certification in Gastroenterology
- Active West Virginia Medical License or IMLC eligibility/qualification for a West Virginia license
- Active DEA
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
Experience
- Open experience requirement
- Advanced GI experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Outpatient clinic coverage
- Perform advanced GI procedures
- Scheduled ERCP and EUS procedures
- Support the call team by performing urgent inpatient cases as needed
- No call responsibilities

- Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)

- 9 Advanced Practice Providers
- Registered Nurses
- Licensed Practical Nurses
- Medical Assistants across three GI locations
