Scope of Work:
- Provide Emergency Medicine coverage
- Evaluate, treat, and manage ED patients
- Supervise APP providers
- Respond to floor codes
- Perform emergency procedures within scope of practice
Department Details:
- Approximately 26,000 annual ED visits
- Approximately 10% admission rate
- Less than 2% transfer rate
- Community hospital / non-designated acuity level
- Adult and pediatric emergency care (pediatric admissions referred externally)
- No scribe services available

- Bedside ultrasound
Requirements:
- ABEM Board Certification required
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current PALS certification
- Current ATLS certification
- Active licensure required
- APP supervision experience preferred
Providers may be required to complete an Emergency Medicine training plan within six months of receiving privileges.
