Description

We re seeking a Locum Tenens Orthopedic Surgeon (MD/DO) for an on-site assignment in Hazard, Kentucky. This is ongoing coverage supporting a community hospital orthopedic service with a mix of inpatient consults/rounding, outpatient clinic, and call.

Start: July 16, 2026 (ongoing)
Coverage model: Scheduled clinical hours + call
Setting: Inpatient + Outpatient
Patient volume: 25 patients/shift
EMR: MediTech
Call: Beeper call, 30-minute response time (approx. 50% callback rate)
