Position Details
Patient Population: Adult Gastroenterology patients
Setting: Hospital-based Gastroenterology practice
Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient clinic and inpatient GI coverage
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures
- Participate in scheduled call coverage
- Deliver comprehensive Gastroenterology care in a hospital setting
Required Procedures:
- General GI procedures
- Advanced GI procedures
- Endoscopy (Required)
- ERCP
- EUS
EMR System: Cerner
Support Staff: Not Specified
Days Per Month: 2 3 weeks per month (multiple providers will be considered)
On-Call/Weekends: Required
Requirements
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Active WV State Medical License (or eligible through IMLC/licensure assistance)
- DEA Required
- BLS and ACLS Certifications Required
