- Location: Salt Lake City, UT 84124
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Start Date: November 1, 2026
- End Date: January 24, 2027
- Assignment Length: 12 weeks
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $5,870 - $6,950
- EMR: EPIC
- Coverage Need: Maternity leave coverage
- License Requirement: Utah medical license and Utah DEA required
Job Requirements
- Board certification or strong clinical experience in cardiology and heart failure care
- At least 1 year of relevant inpatient cardiology experience required
- Current Utah medical license
- Current Utah DEA registration
- Heart Failure Certification required
- Experience with inpatient rounding, heart failure management, and continuity of care
- Comfort working in EPIC electronic medical record system
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient cardiology coverage with a focus on heart failure management
- Conduct daily inpatient rounding and clinical follow-up
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to support high-quality patient outcomes
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in EPIC
- Support continuity of care during maternity leave coverage
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital setting
