Overview A leading healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Medical Director (Geriatric Medicine) to lead a PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) program in Fayetteville, North Carolina. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive, community-based care to seniors while promoting independence and improving quality of life.
Position Details Location: Fayetteville, NC
Position Type: Full-Time (Permanent Only)
Setting: PACE Program (Community-Based Care)
️ Leadership Role: Reports to Executive Director
Call: Participation in on-call rotation required
Key Responsibilities Provide medical direction and oversight of participant care
Conduct H&P, reassessments, and develop treatment plans
Lead and oversee QAPI (Quality Assurance Performance Improvement)
Supervise PCPs and APPs
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Participate in intake, assessment, and care planning
Guide participants and families on care decisions
Develop and maintain medical policies and protocols

Candidate Requirements Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Active North Carolina License
DEA & CDS Certification
Prior supervisory experience required
Minimum 1 year experience with geriatric/frail population
Strong clinical and leadership skills
