Position Highlights
- Schedule: 7:00 AM 7:00 AM (24-hour call)
- Coverage Needed: 6 7 shifts per month, with potential for additional shifts
- Practice Setting: 100% Inpatient / Hospital-Based
- Call Type: In-House & Beeper/Phone Call
- Patient Population: Adult
- EMR: Epic

Clinical Responsibilities
- Routine vaginal deliveries
- Low forceps deliveries
- Decision-making for C-sections
- Management of complicated deliveries, including:
- C-sections
- Breech presentations
- Multiple births
- Placental abruptions
- VBAC deliveries
- Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
Practice Details
- Average 1 6 patients per day
- Midwives manage their own patients and take primary call
- Low C-section volume
- Level II Nursery
- Approximately deliveries annually
- L&D triage visits per month
- Onsite laboratory and ultrasound services
- Hospital Labor & Delivery environment
Requirements
- Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology (ABOG) Required
- Active Kentucky Medical License or Active IMLC Required
- BLS Certification Required
- DEA Required
Credentialing
- Estimated timeframe: 90 days
