Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

We are seeking a qualified Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician to provide exceptional patient care for a locum tenens assignment at our health system in Iowa.

Practice Setting:

• Inpatient
• Team of 3-4 other MDs and OB nurses
• Charting: Cerner

Cases and Procedures:

• OB/GYN inpatient cases include deliveries, C-sections, and some high risk pregnancies

Schedule:

• Ongoing monthly coverage needed
• Inpatient responsibilities:
  • 6 days per month
• 24-hour call; generally 1:5 call ratio
  • Actual volume per 24-hour call shift varies

Requirements:

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• ACLS, DEA, and NRP certifications
