Practice & Cases
- Outpatient clinic and GI procedure lab with inpatient procedures covered separately
- Perform colonoscopy and EGD with opportunities for ERCP and EUS if desired
- Spend 60-80 percent of time in the procedure lab with remaining time in clinic
- Collaborate with advanced practice providers, registered nurses, medical assistants, and procedure staff
Schedule
- Monday through Friday coverage
- 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with occasional 7:30 a.m. starts for procedure blocks
- Minimum commitment of one full week per month
- Ongoing monthly coverage
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology or Board Eligible within 5 years
- Active Illinois medical license with Illinois DEA and CSR required
- ACLS, BLS, DEA, CSR, and moderate sedation credentials required

- Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage are provided as applicable
- Travel accommodations are coordinated based on provider location
