What You ll Do
- Provide comprehensive neonatal care in a busy Level III NICU
- Manage high-risk deliveries alongside obstetric and perinatal teams
- Deliver patient-centered care to approximately 9-11 newborns daily
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including neonatal nurse practitioners, nurses, and respiratory therapists
- Mentor and support NICU nursing and respiratory staff
- Develop and implement clinical protocols and care standards
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Contribute to the strategic growth of the NICU program
- Engage in optional moonlighting opportunities across Virginia
What You Need
- Board-certified Neonatologist
- Residency within the immediate local area; relocation may be required
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic NICU environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- No visa candidates or Locus candidates accepted for this position
