What You ll Do
  • Provide comprehensive neonatal care in a busy Level III NICU
  • Manage high-risk deliveries alongside obstetric and perinatal teams
  • Deliver patient-centered care to approximately 9-11 newborns daily
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including neonatal nurse practitioners, nurses, and respiratory therapists
  • Mentor and support NICU nursing and respiratory staff
  • Develop and implement clinical protocols and care standards
  • Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
  • Contribute to the strategic growth of the NICU program
  • Engage in optional moonlighting opportunities across Virginia
What You Need
  • Board-certified Neonatologist
  • Residency within the immediate local area; relocation may be required
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic NICU environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • No visa candidates or Locus candidates accepted for this position
