A well-established healthcare system in Washington is seeking Board-Certified Cardiology Physicians for a locum tenens assignment. This is an inpatient-focused role with a combination of scheduled clinical hours and night call coverage.
Providers must be comfortable managing cardiology patients in a hospital setting and able to support both day shifts and call duties.
Schedule Details - Inpatient shift: 7:00 AM 5:30 PM
- Night call: 5:00 PM 7:00 AM (pager call, not every night)
- Coverage needed for select weeks between September 2026 January 2027
- Overtime applies after 10 hours/day
- Clinical Responsibilities
- Inpatient cardiology care and rounding
- Admissions and consults
- Night call coverage with phone consults
- Patient volume: approximately per shift
Required Qualifications - Board Certified Cardiology (Required)
- Fellowship training preferred
- Active Washington medical license or IMLC eligibility
- Must be able to perform both inpatient shifts and call coverage
- Clean file required for expedited temporary privileges
