Mental Health Subject Matter Expert (SME II Mental Health) The Mental Health Subject Matter Expert provides behavioral health expertise supporting the mental health programs for Job Corps students nationwide. The position supports policy implementation, clinical consultation, training, and program oversight. Place of Performance: Remote with periodic nationwide travel. Work Schedule: Base Period: October 31, 2026 - October 30, 2027, Monday through Friday during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. EST), as required to support contract performance. Occasional travel required. Minimum Requirements Licensed Psychiatrist, Clinical Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (MSW required). Minimum ten (10) years of experience working with adolescents and young adults. Experience with co-occurring disorders. Crisis intervention experience. Excellent communication and report writing skills. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Labor (DOL) Public Trust suitability determination. Duties and Responsibilities Review behavioral health cases. Provide mental health consultation to Job Corps staff. Support mental health policy development. Conduct center assessments. Participate in technical assistance visits. Provide behavioral health training. Evaluate student mental health records. Assist with crisis management activities. Prepare written recommendations and monthly reports. Support continuous quality improvement initiatives.
