- Credentialing: Approximately 90 days
- Schedule: Flexible day, evening, and overnight shifts
- Call: None specified
- EMR: Epic (EMR training and one shadow shift required)
Clinical Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with emergent medical conditions
- Manage trauma activations and critically ill patients
- Perform emergency stabilization and resuscitation
- Determine patient disposition, including admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Collaborate with consulting specialists and multidisciplinary care teams
- Document patient care using Epic
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
- Family Medicine and Internal Medicine physicians must have at least two years of Emergency Medicine experience
- Active Ohio medical license
- Active DEA registration
- Three peer references required for credentialing
- Current credentialing documentation, including education, training, and licensure verification
- ABFM and ABIM physicians must maintain current ATLS certification
- Eligible for hospital credentialing
