Opportunity:
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Job Details:
- 13-week contract with options to extend
- Schedule: Full-time, 4x10 shifts per week, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (with a 30-minute lunch break)
- CRNAs are medically directed, typically at a 2:1 or 3:1 ratio with Anesthesiologists
- Coverage areas include Orthopedics, Trauma, Vascular, and Neurology (no cardiac cases)
- Patient population spans all age groups excluding neonatal (includes adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics)
- Daily patient volume ranges from 1 to 9 patients per day
- Required skills include intubation, central line placement, arterial line placement, and general line placement; nerve blocks not likely required; no OB coverage
- All providers will be required to work NORA (Non-Operating Room Anesthesia)
- Support staff includes CRNAs, Anesthesia Technicians, and Anesthesiologists
- EMR system: EPIC (preferred)
- Practice setting: Level 1 Trauma Center hospital
- Board Certification required: NBCRNA
- Active Kentucky state license required; open to licensing assistance
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required; no new graduates
- Recent experience in a large medical center setting required
- Level 1 Trauma experience required
