Job Title: Locum Neuroendovascular Surgeon
Join a dynamic healthcare team at a leading medical facility in Youngstown, Ohio. The facility is a top-tier hospital dedicated to providing exceptional care in a supportive environment. This opportunity as a Neuroendovascular Surgeon allows for meaningful engagement with patients while utilizing advanced medical technologies. The position entails working one week a month with a 7 on, 7 off schedule, providing a balance of professional responsibilities and personal time.
Job Responsibilities:
- Respond to ED stroke alerts 24/7 while on call.
- Perform thrombectomy and other neuroendovascular procedures as clinically appropriate.
- Manage the inpatient care of adult and geriatric patients, averaging 10-12 patients per day.
- Participate in 24/7 neuroendovascular call coverage.
- Ensure thorough documentation using the Epic EMR system.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Interventional Neurologist.
- Active Ohio medical license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- 1-2 years of relevant clinical experience.
- Clean background with no malpractice or license issues.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Must hold an active Ohio medical license.
- Board certification in Interventional Neurology is required.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification are mandatory.
